All bookings can be made via our booking site - untypeyourhair.as.me.

New clients are required to book a consultation as a first appointment, styling can be selected as an add on or booked after the initial appointment.

Returning clients must book a follow up appointment first if it has been more than 6months since their last appointment

Events & Classes must be booked in advance and there will be no tickets on the door unless explicitly stated

We do not take walk ins as all booking must be made in advance,

If you require a same day appointment, please email or call the salon to see if any slots are available although it is not usually possible

Our online sessions are to accommodate those who are unable to easily make it into the salon.

We ask you to provide pictures of your hair & scalp which take the place of the physical assessment.

Some clients worry that as we can’t see or touch the hair we won’t be able to help but this isn’t true!

All of the information you tell us during the session helps us to make accurate suggestions.

We are unapologetically a space for Black women, but every one is welcome to sit in our chairs.*
